Julia Schafer is a native Houstonian who graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Journalism. She has a 23-year background as an office administrative professional for small to mid-size architecture firms in Houston. Currently she is Office Manager for BRAVE / ARCHITECTURE and oversees all aspects of the firm`s operations and is aligned steadily with the management team.

Outside of architecture, her interests include historic preservation, mid-century furniture, screen printing fabric and modern culture. Highlighting her use of contemporary design in a historical space, her renovated 1923 duplex was featured in an episode of HGTV`s Small Space, Big Style.
