Driving down the Richmond Corridor of office buildings, 2 buildings instantly come to mind. Both were designed by Neuhaus and Taylor. One is the four-story Formalist building at the corner of Richmond and Buffalo Speedway, and the other one is this small `eyelid` building. Every angle of this building offers a whimsical view of the 1960s. As in many of Neuhaus and Taylor`s early 60`s buildings, parking is on the ground, underneath the second floor offices. The eyelid shaped forms a shade over the windows to keep the Houston heat out and adds a nearly magical touch to the building.
