Comments:The home makes good use of trees and foliage to conceal it from the street. Like other homes in the area, this one backs up to the wooded slopes of Rummel Creek.
Architectural Comments:Besides the stark contrast provided by the white brick and the black trim, this house truly stands out because of its modern carport. The numerous posts support the carport and the concrete block screen, a feature reminiscent of screens typical of 1950s modernist homes found in Palm Springs, CA. The use of screens is carried into the home's family room to separate it from the sunken living room. The interior also features original terrazo tile, period pieces that complement the home's design and three sculptural lights adjacent to the large plate glass windows.
