This late sixties mid-century modern ranch house has both Frank Lloyd Wright and Philip Johnson influences with its abundance of wood, glass, and terrazzo. The front open-air courtyard may remind one of Johnson`s Menil House, while the study off of the main living room may remind one of the Gordon House by Bolton and Barnstone. Many beautiful late sixties touches remain, such as vintage high-dollar wallpaper and dark wood paneling. Beautiful mature pine trees surround the house which backs to the fields of St. Francis school. The house was featured in August, 2010 as a Mod of the Month, and in renovated form in the March 2013 issue of Houston House & Home Magazine.
