This house, sitting across from Mrs. Wagner`s school in Willow Meadows was designed by Lars Bang. The house definitely includes features Bang used in his houses such as post and beam construction, clerestory windows, and a patio with sliding glass doors that lead out to it.
Harry Lieberman and his wife Patricia were the first owners of the home. Lieberman is probably best known to Houstonians as Larry Kane of the Larry Kane Show, a Dick Clark-type dance show that aired on KTRK during the1960s. Lieberman was hired by KTRK in January of 1959 as the host of the show and he purchased the home later that summer.
