O.L. Johnson was one of the area`s first pediatricians. His house featured a large playroom for his sons, with small satellite bedrooms adjoining. A curved brick wall highlights a formal living room at the front of the house which overlooks a private garden and features a massive, custom-made sofa. This sofa and the boldly colored terrazzo floors throughout much of the house show the influence of architect Willard`s wife, Virginia, a talented interior decorator. Sharply contoured and contrasting brick designs are visible inside and outside the house.
