Located along a tributary of Sims Bayou, this flat-roof `Case Study-esque` house with Miesian influences was built by Howard Weisenbaker for his first wife in 1959. Upon entering the house you are greeted by a beautiful sunken living room and a wall of glass along the back of the house. A right turn takes you into the kitchen and breakfast areas, while a left turn leads you down a hallway flanked by three bedrooms. Both the living room and the master bedroom have exposed brick walls. Much of the flooring is also brick. The master bedroom has a sliding glass door which leads out to the backyard. 15 or so years after the house was built, the owners at the time contacted Weisenbaker to design a swimming pool for the backyard. Beyond the pool is a woodsy area and a pathway to the pastoral whispering creek that gives the street its name.

The house is now beautifully maintained by Karen Moyers-Stodelle, who furnishes the house in period-correct furniture.
