Taylor, Harwood

Harwood Taylor was born in Dallas in 1927. He was a world renowned architect designing many of the buildings in Houston as well as buildings as far away as China. He also was the architect of the historic USS Flagship Hotel in Galveston, TX, built in 1965, which was so badly damaged by Hurricane Ike in 2008 that it had to be torn down. He was a partner in the firm of Neuhaus & Taylor. Taylor died in 1988 at the age of 61.
