This pair of professional buildings near the corner of Willowbend and South Post Oak Blvd are about as Miesian buildings as one will find this side of Chicago. In the Houston Architectural Guide, Stephen Fox says, “It demonstrates, for a time at least, architecture was pursued as a serious response to middle-class life in the suburbs.”
