This elegant house was built for Walter P. Moore, Jr., owner of one of the largest structural engineering firms in the country. It is built around a courtyard which contains a tree and an indoor swimming pool. The house has been updated and possibly restored since this photo was taken. It is one of the few modern houses remaining in Tanglewood.
