As with all of the houses in the Riverside Terrace subdivision, this house is a two story home (by demand of the deed restrictions). The house is on a pie slice of a lot, very thin and deep. Bolton and Barnstone extended the house to the building lines and turned the house in on itself with two interior courtyards, one of which has a large skylight. Front and side windows are nearly eliminated, but the back of the house has plenty of them in several different sizes.
The well maintained 3800 square feet house has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a large living room, a study, the aforementioned courtyards with planting areas, and a children’s playroom with a skylight and remains one of Riverside Terrace’s most interesting and beautiful mid-century houses.
